The teams of Lithuania /men/ and Turkey /ladies/ are the winners in the European Team Shield Championship 2017

The Bulgarian ladies team ranked on the prestigious fourth place at the European Team Shield Championship 2017, which was played in four rounds at Pravets Golf Club. Our girls Sofia Seldemirova, Stefani Skokanska, Magdalena Borisova and Ivana Simeonova lost the match for the third place against the team of Lithuania, who took the bronze medals.

Turkey's team became the ladies Champion, and the silver medals will travel to Poland.

In the men’s competition the Bulgarian team – Vladislav Marinov, Ryan Staykov, Assen Mihaylov and Tzanko Tzanev, ranked sixth. The competition ended with a playoff in which the Lithuanian team defeated the players of Turkey.

24 teams from 13 countries took part in the tournament, jointly organized by the Bulgarian Golf Association and the European Golf Association.
