Competition conditions – The Championship<\/h2>\n
\n

1.<\/strong> Competitor must be an amateur as defined by the current Rules of Amateur Status.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

2.<\/strong> The minimum entry age of the Mid-Am should be 30 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

3.<\/strong> Format of the competition – The Championship Division shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

4.<\/strong> There will be a Trophy for the Best Nett over 54 holes in the Championship Division.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

5.<\/strong> In the event of applications exceeding the maximum limit, all entries shall be decided by ballot, preference given to lower handicaps, which shall take place immediately after the closing date for entries. All unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay thereafter.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

6.<\/strong> Buggies won’t be allowed for that division.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

\n

7.<\/strong> The competitors in the Championship Division who tie for the first place shall play a hole by hole (sudden death) play-off to determine the winner. Starting hole \u2013 1.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

8.<\/strong> Any competitor who is not present at their first Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

9.<\/strong> The Tournament Committee reserves the right to set and\/or alter starting times.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

10.<\/strong> Participants are obliged to use golf balls and driving clubs, that are listed as conforming with the Rules of Golf on the R&A Rules Limited web-site www.randa.org<\/a>;<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

11.<\/strong> A competitor shall not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. Should a competitor show clinical evidence of use of drug for a non \u2013 therapeutic purpose, the Committee may require him to undergo a drug test. Any competitor infringing this condition may be disqualified.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

12.<\/strong> Pace of Play condition will apply.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

13.<\/strong> The Championship Committee reserves the right to vary the Championship Conditions if it is necessary.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

14.<\/strong> Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R&A Rules Limited and sign the declaration in the entry form to that effect.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

15.<\/strong> Entrants from outside Bulgaria shall provide a HCP certificate issued by the authority under the handicapping system adopted in the country from which he has entered.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

16.<\/strong> The Championship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

17.<\/strong> The completed and signed entry form must be received by the \u2018Bulgarian Golf Association\u2019 not later than 3rd of August 2026.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

18.<\/strong> All disputes must be referred to the Head Referee who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. If it is not possible to resolve a dispute, the Head Referee will place it before the Championship and Rules Committee and its decision shall be final.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Competition conditions – Senior and Legends<\/h2>\n
\n

1.<\/strong> Competitor must be an amateur as defined by the current Rules of Amateur Status.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

2.<\/strong> The minimum entry age of the 50+ Senior should be 50 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

3.<\/strong> The minimum entry age of the 60+ Senior should be 60 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship. Players over 60 can choose between both Championships.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

4.<\/strong> Format of the competition:\n\u2022<\/span> The 50+ Senior Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross;\n\u2022<\/span> The 60+ Senior Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Gross Stableford.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

5.<\/strong> There will be a Trophy for 1st Gross and 1st Nett place in the 50+ Senior Championship.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

6.<\/strong> There will be a Trophy for 1st Gross and 1st Nett place in the 60+ Senior Championship.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

\n

7.<\/strong> Buggy can be booked in the 60+ Senior Championship upon a request at – info@pravets-golfclub.com<\/a>. Buggies won’t be allowed in the 50+ Senior Championship.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n \n \n

\n

8.<\/strong> Any player with medical certificate receives priority in booking a buggy. Copy of the medical certificate should be sent with the request for booking a buggy 3 weeks before the tournament.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n \n \n\n

\n

9.<\/strong> The competitors in the 50+ Senior Championship who tie for first place shall play a hole by hole (sudden death) play-off to determine the winner starting from hole 1. In the 60+ Senior Championship all ties shall be decided by a card play-off over the final 18 holes or last 9, 6, 3 holes or last hole. If there is still a tie the scores for the second round shall be treated in the same way until a decision is reached.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n

2.<\/strong> Format of the competition:\n\u2022<\/span> The Plate Division shall be decided over 54 holes Singles Stableford which shall be played in accordance with the rules of Golf as approved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and in accordance with the local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n
