1.<\/strong> Competitor must be an amateur as defined by the current Rules of Amateur Status.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

2.<\/strong> The minimum entry age of the senior should be 50 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship. The minimum entry age of the Gentlemen should be 60 years old as of 0:00 hrs. on Day 1 of the Championship.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

3.<\/strong> Format of the competition
\n \u2022<\/span> The Senior Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross;
\n \u2022<\/span> The 60+ Championship shall be decided over 54 holes Gross Stableford.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

4.<\/strong> In the event of applications exceeding the maximum players, all entries shall be decided by ballot, preference given to lower handicaps, which shall take place immediately after the closing date for entries. All unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay thereafter.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

5.<\/strong> Only competitors in the 60+ Championship are allowed to use buggy.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

6.<\/strong> Players in the Senior Championship must walk during the Championship.
\n *There is a limit availability of golf electric trolleys for the competition to rent based on the first come – first serve basis. Please contact s.pesheva@golfbg.net<\/a><\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

7.<\/strong> Any player with medical certificate receives priority in booking a buggy. Copy of the medical certificate should be send with the request for booking a buggy 3 weeks before the tournament.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

8.<\/strong> The competitors in both Championships who tie for the first place shall play a hole by hole (sudden death) play-off to determine the winner.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

9.<\/strong> Any competitor who is not present at their first Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to set and\/or alter starting times.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

10.<\/strong> Participants are obliged to use golf balls and driving clubs, that are listed as conforming with the Rules of Golf on the R&A Rules Limited web-site www.randa.org<\/a>;<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

11.<\/strong> A competitor shall not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. Should a competitor show clinical evidence of use of drug for a non \u2013 therapeutic purpose, the Committee may require him to undergo a drug test. Any competitor infringing this condition may be disqualified.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

12.<\/strong> Pace of Play condition will apply.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

13.<\/strong> The Championship Committee reserves the right to vary the Championship Conditions if it is necessary<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

14.<\/strong> Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R&A Rules Limited and sign the declaration in the entry form to that effect.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

15.<\/strong> Entrants from outside Bulgaria shall provide a HCP certificate issued by the authority under the handicapping system adopted in the country from which he has entered.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

16.<\/strong> The Championship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

17.<\/strong> The completed and signed entry form must be received by the \u2018Bulgarian Golf Association\u2019 not later than 30th April 2025.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n

18.<\/strong> All disputes must be referred to the Head Referee who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.
